Dear Volunteers and mask users,

Over the past 4 months our modest project has made and distributed in excess of 300 free masks to Melbourne Metropolitan area doctors, nurses, orthoptists, medical photographers and other health care workers. We have raised donations with the help of our generous donors, and this has given us enough funds to purchase materials and cover expenses. In fact, what we need now are more volunteers to make masks, as the demand has increased due to the unfortunate second wave of COVID19 in Victoria. We have several volunteers working with us now, and are continuing to receive an increasing number of orders.

Remember, masks are your way of protecting yourself and others around you. By wearing a mask you are showing your consideration of others, and are also protecting yourself.

If you know anyone who can sew and is interested in helping, if you yourself can help sew or help with the administration of the project (taking requests, keeping track of orders and stock etc) we would love to hear from you.
